Hambletonian and Oaks contenders test negative

from the Hambetonian Society

Cranbury, NJ — All out-of-competition samples for entrants in the $1.5 million Hambletonian and $750,000 Hambletonian Oaks have tested negative in advance of Saturday’s events at Meadowlands Racetrack.

Out-of-competition testing is a condition of participation in the world’s richest races for 3-year-old trotters. Additionally, no race day medication, such as Lasix, is permitted in the Hambletonian or Oaks.

The Hambletonian Society is a supporter of the Racing Testing and Medication Consortium.
