Put On A Show continues to roll in Mistletoe Shalee elims

Columbus, OH — Put On A Show continued to do just that as she romped to a lifetime best 1:50 score in the first of two $25,000 Mistletoe Shalee eliminations for 3-year-old pacing fillies on Saturday night (July 31) at Meadowlands Racetrack.

Put On A Show lowered her mark to 1:50 with her victory.

Owned by Craig Henderson and Richard and Joanne Young, the daughter of Rocknroll Hanover-Stienam’s Place brushed to the lead at the half-mile marker for driver Tim Tetrick and was never caught in her one length triumph over Dancinwiththestartz. Higher And Higher was third, Best Boss was fourth and Wenditions ended up fifth.

Put On A Show has won seven times in eight starts this year for trainer Chris Ryder. She has banked $453,555 in 2010 and nearly $1.2 million in her career.

The second elimination went to Emerald Highlands Farm’s Seriously in a time of 1:50.1. Jody Jamieson was in the bike for trainer Tony O’Sullivan as the Rocknroll Hanover-Serious Smile miss defeated A And Gs Princess by 1-3/4 lengths. Cannae Cammie was third, Rock N Soul was fourth and Western Moonlight fifth.

Seriously has hit the board in each of her nine sophomore starts, with four wins and earnings of $64,662. The clocking of 1:50.1 was a personal best.

Lady Liberty elim to Dreamfair Eternal

John Lamers’ Dreamfair Eternal rallied from sixth place at the three-quarter pole to capture the $40,000 Lady Liberty elimination for pacing mares on Saturday.

Randy Waples drove the Patrick Fletcher trainee to a three-quarter length score over Ginger And Fred in a time of 1:50.1, with a last quarter of :25.4. On The Glass was third, Shacked Up finished fourth and Fox Valley Topaz was fifth.

Dreamfair Eternal is a 6-year-old daughter of Camluck-J Cs Nathalie. The victory was her ninth in 12 starts this year and improved her 2010 bankroll to $380,920.
