East Rutherford, NJ — The 3-year-old filly pacers will step out in the $176,000 Tarport Hap on Saturday night (July 24) at Meadowlands Racetrack.

Put On A Show looks to deliver another winning performance as the 7-5 favorite in the first of the two $88,000 splits (race three on the card). Brian Sears will sub for her regular partner, Tim Tetrick, in the sulky.

Trained by Chris Ryder, Put On A Show has won five of six races this season, including the $175,000 Miss New Jersey and $200,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes finals. She fell a neck short of stopping Western Silk in the Fan Hanover Final at Mohawk, her only 2010 loss. Lifetime, the daughter of Rocknroll Hanover-Stienam’s Place has a record of 12 wins and three seconds in 15 starts and earnings of $1.1 million. Craig Henderson and Richard and Joanne Young own the filly.

Dancinwiththestarz, a standout in the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes program, is the 5-2 favorite in the second division (race seven). She will start from post eight with Sears at the lines. Dancinwiththestarz has been first or second in 15 of 18 career starts for just under $450,000 in earnings. Mark Harder trains the daughter of Four Starzzz Shark-So Western for W Springtime Racing Stable and Shannon Brott.
