Allamerican Theory dies

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia — Allamerican Theory, the winner of the 2003 Meadowlands Pace, died at the age of 10 after suffering a colic attack at Stallion Station’s Victorian base today (May 12).

One of the best 3-year-olds of 2003, Allamerican Theory won nine of his 19 starts that year and bankrolled $827,565.

Besides his Meadowlands Pace success, the son of Jenna’s Beach Boy-Three Mile Smile captured an elimination of the North America Cup in a career-best 1:49.3, divisions of the Bluegrass Stakes and Simcoe Stakes, and a leg of the Mohawk Youthful Series.

He was the recipient of the O’Brien Award as the Canadian 3-year-old pacing colt of the year in 2003.

Retired to stud, Allamerican Theory produced 20 foals from a single American crop, with 17 starters and 14 winners with 10 in 2:00. In Australia he has not been widely represented to date but has left several winners including Good In Theory p,1:59 and the Globe Derby Park winner Blacks The Theory.
