Toronto, ON — Veteran WEG reinsman Luc Ouellette will be off to Finland this weekend where he will be reunited with top older trotter Enough Talk who is scheduled to compete in the $250,000 Finlandia Ajo at Vermo Racetrack in Helsinki.

Luc Ouellette will drive Enough Talk in Finland.

The race will serve as a stepping stone for the prestigious Elitlopp in Sweden which is coming up at the end of May at Solvalla Racecourse. Ouellette and Enough Talk competed in the 2008 edition where they finished second in their elimination and third in the final.

Enough Talk, a winner of more than $1.2 million lifetime, has come back strong this season and upended superstar Lucky Jim in a leg of the Su Mac Lad Series at the Meadowlands. His good start to the season gives Ouellette optimism heading to Europe.

“I was pretty excited when I saw he came back good this year. He’s obviously pretty solid right now,” he said during a recent paddock interview at Woodbine. “We didn’t draw so well though, we got the eight hole on a five-eighths-mile track. There’s eight across and there’s 10 horses in the race, so that could be a little difficult but hopefully things work out.

“To get another crack at the Elitlopp would be great. Especially with this horse. Hopefully he’ll stay as good as he’s been at the Meadowlands. I know he’s in against Lucky Jim but he’s beaten Lucky Jim.”
