Cal-Expo makes late-April schedule change

Sacramento, CA — Following an adjustment in the daytime California thoroughbred schedule, Cal-Expo harness has slightly adjusted their April schedule.

“We felt we needed to cancel the April 22 and April 29 Thursday cards because there was no live racing of any type in California on those days,” said Dave Elliott, Director of Racing for Cal-Expo. “We are sensitive to the expenses incurred by the California Satellite network sites when they are open. As a result, we chose to replace those Thursdays with cards on Wednesday, April 21, as well as on Wednesday, April 28, which will match the Hollywood Park racing calendar.”

Live racing resumes at Cal-Expo on Thursday (March 25) at 5:55 p.m. (PDT), and continues through Saturday (March 27). Post times on Friday and Saturday are scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
