Freehold cancels live racing; Meadows closes race book
February 6, 2010,Freehold Raceway cancelled live racing on Saturday, February 6 due to a winter storm expected to leave over a foot of snow on the region.
A storm that dumped more than a foot of snow throughout its service area has forced The Meadows Racetrack & Casino to close its on-track race book and all off-track sites for all Saturday activities. The track plans to reopen the race book and off-track sites for regular Sunday hours.
