Toronto, ON — The closing date for nominations for the Woodbine Entertainment Group winter stakes series is December 1, 2009.

• the Valedictory Series (3-year-old pacing colts and geldings) — first leg December 12
• the Niagara Series (3-year-old pacing fillies) — first leg December 14
• the Glorys Comet Series (trotters 4-year-olds and up) — first leg January 3
• the Miss Vera Bars Series (3-year-old pacing fillies) — first leg January 28
• The Count B Series (3-year-old pacing colts and geldings) — first leg January 29
• the Cam Fella Series (3- and 4-year-old pacers) — first leg March 6
• the Damsel Pacing Series (3- and 4-year-old pacing fillies and mares) — first leg March 11

All Winter Series Finals are now guaranteed purses, as compared to estimated purses in previous years.
