Large payoffs at Woodbine

Toronto, ON — Some horseplayers at Woodbine got their Christmas shopping money earlier this past week, in particular on the Monday night program.

In the night’s sixth race, Windsun Thunder was a gate-to-wire winner, returning $12.40. With 49-1 shot Keep It Covert finishing second, the triactor return was a whopping $12,850.30 and the .20 cent superfecta kicked back just over $5,900, based on a $1 combination of $29,552.10.

The Late Pick-4 also produced a jackpot payoff of $15,176.55 for a $1 combination. The four winners included J Ds Caleb Man ($13.50), Come Back ($5.40), Onemorelastchance ($15.20) and Scootin Art ($44.00).
