Freehold, NJ — Heather Moffett, host and producer of the “Post Time” television show, which airs weekly throughout the Delmarva area on WBOC and Fox 21, will join the Pet Adoption Day events on Sunday, October 11, at Harrington Raceway.

Moffett will join driver Corey Callahan in signing photos and greeting fans who visit a display of pets seeking homes from the Kent County SPCA in the track’s grandstand lobby this Sunday. Races start at 5:15 p.m. Moffett will meet and greet from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Callahan will join the group to sign photos at about 7 p.m.

There is also a pet food drive and a bake sale to complement the day’s events. Callahan, along with driver Tony Morgan, have each pledged a 25 cents cash donation for each pound of pet food donated to the SPCA; some of their fellow horsemen have pledged 5 and 10 cents each, with the total pledge now hovering close to a one dollar-to-pound match. The goals for the day are to collect 5,000 pounds of pet food, raise $5,000 in donations and get five pets adopted.

Moffett and “Post Time” have been on the air for over ten years and 500 episodes, developing a loyal fan following.
