Chester, PA — On The Tab ($3.00), Hard Livin ($3.00), Chimon ($3.40) and Federalreservenote ($2.60) gave trainer Jimmy Takter and driver Daniel Dube a Pennsylvania Sire Stakes grand slam on Monday (July 20) at Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack, as five divisions of 2-year-old trotting colts and geldings faced the starting gate.

Hard Livin (SJ’s Caviar-Affinity) was the fastest of the Takter/Dube quartet, turning in a 1:58.2 performance from first-over and holding off Mr McRail (Ron Pierce) and Freedom Ridge (David Miller) despite bearing out through the stretch.

Christina Takter and John Fielding own all four trotters, with Falkbolagen Ab co-owning On The Tab and Hard Livin, and Louie Camara also in partnership on On The Tab. Goran Anderberg co-owns Chimon and Federalreservenote.

Despite the Takter/Dube tour de force, Upandover Hanover ($5.40) was fastest of the 2-year-old trotters, inheriting the lead at the head of the stretch and finishing handily in 1:57.4 with Brett Miller up for trainer Scott Cox. Towering Oaks Farm owns Upandover Hanover (Andover Hall-Up Front Lisa).

Seven divisions of the Stallion Series for 2-year-old pacing colts and geldings also went to post on Monday evening.

Native Justice (Allamerican Native-Eternal Justice) was fastest of them all, drawing clear after pressure in a 1:54.3 mile. Ron Pierce handled the driving assignment for owner Dean Casaday and owner-trainer L. David Emanuel, II.

Pierce also was victorious with Under Sail (Arturo-Homeward Rd) in 1:56 for John and Susan Marshall.

Tim Tetrick recorded a Stallion Series double with Tom Paine and Pan Of The Lost, while This Dragonflyzzz, Coastal Art, and Great George rounded out the division winners.
