Spots still available in 2009 USTA Driving School

Columbus, OH — There are still a few openings remaining for the 2009 USTA Standardbred Driving School, May 14-17 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Delaware, Ohio.

Join the fun and excitement as a participant in a unique opportunity for educational and hands-on experience. Participants must be at least 16 years of age. There is a registration fee of $300. Students must provide their own transportation and lodging. Most meals are furnished.

The sessions begin Thursday evening, May 14, with a Welcoming Reception and Dinner with special keynote speaker Dr. Ian Moore, co-owner and trainer of Shadow Play, winner of the 2008 Little Brown Jug.

Classroom and hands-on instruction takes place all day Friday and Saturday, May 15 and 16 with six lucky students being chosen to drive in a special driving school race conducted at Scioto Downs racetrack on Saturday night.
