Standardbred Retirement Foundation offering breedings for sale

from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation

Hamilton, NJ — The Standardbred Retirement Foundation (SRF) is now offering breedings for sale to some of harness racing’s top stallions, including Deweycheatumnhowe, Badlands Hanover, Conway Hall, SJ’s Caviar, and Broadway Hall.

For information on prices and availability, call (609) 324-1500.

Additionally, all 3-year-olds in 2009, by stallions whose breedings were donated to SRF in 2009, are eligible for the SRF races at The Meadowlands, including progeny of exported overseas, deceased or out of service stallions. The race dates are June 20 and June 27. The deadline for nominations is March 15 with estimated purses up to $35,000. Please contact the Meadowlands or your staking service.

The SRF, now in its 20th year, is a non-profit organization; the sale of stallion breedings is one of SRF’s key fundraising events. Both donations and purchases of breedings are appreciated. Proceeds from the sales benefit the 160 horses presently being cared for by the SRF while awaiting adoption.
