Pompano Beach, FL — Goldstar Rosie takes on eight rivals in her quest towards a $100,000 bonus as she heads the $26,250 Florida Sale Stakes for 2-year-old pacing fillies on Friday (October 10) at the Isle Pompano Park.

Goldstar Rosie is the 2-1 morning line favorite for driver Dan Clements after posting a lifetime best 1:54.4 triumph in the Sunshine State Stakes Final. She is the only filly in the field still eligible for the $100,000 bonus and must win Friday to remain eligible.

Goldstar Rosie starts from post four and has won five of her six lifetime starts for breeder/trainer Tom Audley, who co-owns the filly with Jamie Marra and Beth Levine.

Her main competition will come from Bling, who starts from the rail for driver Mel Turcotte. Bling was second by a neck to Goldstar Rosie in the Sunshine State Stakes final. Other contenders include Callies Sweetheart (post six) and Howards Pride (post two).
