Columbus, OH — Driver David Miller captured both $104,900 divisions of the Kentuckiana Stallion Management for 2-year-old filly pacers in Grand Circuit action on Friday night (September 5) at Indiana Downs.

In the opening split, Miller piloted Bulletproof Enterprises’ Hawaiian Drink to a 1:53.3 score for trainer Mark Harder. The I Am A Fool-B Passionate miss held off Notjustaprettyface (Trace Tetrick) by a neck. Third was Thou Shalt Not and driver Brent Holland.

The victory was the fourth in five lifetime starts for Hawaiian Drink and raised her lifetime earnings to $97,920. She set her lifetime mark of 1:52.4 last week in the Hayes Memorial at Du Quoin.

Miller came back to sweep the stake with Twist N Clout, who posted a lifetime best 1:53.4 triumph. Owned by Val D’or Farms and trained by Joe Holloway, the Western Ideal-Economic Clout juvenile drew off in the stretch for an easy 8-1/2 length triumph over Attitude Hanover (Ricky Macomber, Jr.). Perfectionist (Marcus Johansson) grabbed the show dough.

For Twist N Clout, it was her fourth victory in seven trips behind the gate and improved her lifetime earnings to $220,151. Earlier this year she was a winner in the $175,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final at The Meadowlands.
