Paris, KY — Caviart Sydney, winner of $444,787, gave birth to her first foal, a Rocknroll Hanover filly, at Caviart Farms.

“What a classy-looking filly,” said Farm Manager Terry Chaffee. “She stands nicely, is spunky and has a real presence about her. And it is just terrific to watch her pacing all the way down the field at the side of Sydney. We are just so thrilled with her.”

The new filly, bay with a white star, was born at approximately 2:30 a.m. on February 20, 2008.

Caviart Sydney, a daughter of Dragon Again and the Western Hanover mare Caviart Sierra, won the 2006 Matron over My Little Dragon and was a top performer throughout the 2005 and 2006 racing seasons.

“After seeing this beautiful filly, we are really happy that Caviart Sydney is being bred back to Rocknroll Hanover again this year,” added Chaffee.
