Youth Beats launches Web Site

by Jason Turner, editor, Youth Beats Magazine

Columbus, OH — Youth Beats, the official kids’ magazine for and about kids in harness racing, has developed a Web page designed specifically for kids.

Like the magazine, the Youth Beats Web site will feature some of the biggest names in harness racing, as well as young participants that are making a difference in the sport as drivers, trainers, grooms and fans. The site will also offer games, puzzles and unique online content focused on harness racing and the Standardbred breed.

Youth Beats was first published in 2006 by Hoof Beats and the USTA. This year Youth Beats will be published four times and have its own Web page with exclusive content for kids.

Both the print and online versions of Youth Beats welcome and encourage submissions from kids of all ages, including stories, jokes, pictures and letters about the Standardbreds they love.

For more information on Youth Beats or how to submit to the magazine, contact Jason Turner at jason.turner@ustrotting.com, or call 1.877.800.8782, ext. 3269.
