DSBF Stakes get underway at Harrington

Harrington, DE — Four $20,000 divisions of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) stakes for 2-year-old trotters were contested on Sunday (October 7) at Harrington Raceway.

Westgate Mike was a 2:02.3 winner for Ross Wolfenden.
Vicki Givens and Pam Curran’s Westgate Mike was the fastest divisional winner with a 2:02.3 triumph. The Wayne Givens-trainee was making his first pari-mutuel start. ‘Mike’ is a CR Commando-sired gelding and was driven by Ross Wolfenden.
In the other colt division, Ron Hill and Virginia Keeler’s Indian Hill Mojoe was victorious in 2:07.1. Hill also trained and drove the Complex Sea gelding.
On the filly side, Jim Morand and Nanticoke Racing’s Juanita (2:04.4) and Bobby and Debbie Rementer’s Kisses On Command (2:07.1) each won their respective divisions.
