Greenfield, IN — Indiana Downs and the Indiana Standardbred Association, in a joint venture, signed a contract with HRTV to air Indiana Downs on Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Until recently, Indiana Downs had been sparsely covered by both HRTV and TVG.

Indiana Standardbred Breed Development and the ISA just recently created a commercial advertising the two Indiana yearling sales. The commercial is planned to air on HRTV. The ISA and Indiana Downs found it crucial for the track to receive more coverage to better benefit the Indiana Harness Racing Industry. The harness meet at Hoosier Park in Anderson is covered by HRTV.

“I am pleased that, once again, Indiana Downs and the ISA have been able to work together to make positive changes, to improve the positioning of our product, and to help grow our business,” commented Jon Schuster, General Manager of Indiana Downs.

Also in the agreement with HRTV was full coverage of Indiana Downs Summer Championship Races on August 25. All races from that night’s card will be shown live or recorded. August 25 is expected to have over $1 million in purses, featuring the Indiana Sires Stake Finals, the Hoosier Home Run, and the Indiana Sired Invitational Pace.
