Canaco Lily (inside) gets by Jenny’s Picnic to win Tuesday’s feature.

Harrington, DE — Rodney Mitchell, Jr.’s Canaco Lily (George Dennis) received a perfect trip behind pacesetting Jenny’s Picnic and edged clear at the wire for a 1:54.3 win on Tuesday (August 30) in the featured $15,000 Filly and Mare Open Pace at Harrington Raceway. S F Misty was third.

It was Canaco Lily’s seventh win of the year as her lifetime earnings climbed to nearly $200,000.

In the sub-featured $11,000 Winners Over Pace, Wyatt Starkey and Jeff Marvel’s Scootbyal (Art Stafford, Jr., 1:54.4) set all the fractions and won by a length over Front Tier Power and Go Flyin N.

Driver Jim Morand won three races on the card to take the lead in the driver’s standings with 27 wins.
