Harmon-Kramer team up again

Hazel Park, MI — The duo of trainer Rob Harmon and driver Brad Kramer have been successful in the past and it was no different on Tuesday night at Hazel Park Raceway as they teamed up for a pair of wins.

In the first race, a $6,000 claiming trot, Brad Kramer got the perfect trip with Sweet Persuasion. He tipped the six-year-old mare at the three-quarter pole to challenge Lady Has Spoken and Fred Webster, Jr. and trotted on by down the stretch for owners Gerald and Patricia Mulder in 2:01.1 for her seventh victory in 19 starts in 2005.

The Harmon-Kramer team was back at it in the third with Laag The Mile, a four-year-old gelding owned by Roger Roland from Grinnell Iowa. Kramer didn’t take any chances as he made his move just past the quarter pole and cleared to the front by the time they reached the half in :58.2. Laag The Mile did the rest as he held off a late charge from Madelia, driven by the talented Tyler Buter, to win in 1:56.2.
