HARRINGTON, Del. – A stellar field of six, in the $18,500 Open, with combined lifetime earnings of nearly $3 million headlines the Monday program at Harrington Raceway. Two-time winner Bobnoxious (2-1, Tim Curtin) is back for owners Daniel and Thomas Courtemanche. The 5-year-old Nude Beach stallion ranks among the top 10 in earnings for pacers this year and drew post six for trainer Sam Beegle.

Chewy Gross, fresh off a track record setting effort last week, is part of a stellar field of six in Monday’s $18,500 Open.

Martin Scharf’s Chewy Gross (5/2, Jim Morand) rolled to a track record setting effort last week and will fire from post five from the Josh Green stable. “Chewy” won in 1:52 , which was the fastest mile ever at Harrington for an aged pacing gelding, as well as a seasonal mark on a half-mile track.

Fred and Anita Fialkow’s Pedone (3-1, Brad Hanners) had a six race win streak snapped at the Meadowlands and returns for trainer Kevin Lare. Elmer Fannin’s Make a Success (5-1, Eddie Davis Jr.) is the defending track horse of the meet, while Thomas Dillon and Walter Hight’s Ashlee’s Big Guy (4-1, Ross Wolfenden) and Arty Foster Jr.’s JT Arturo complete the field.

Also part of the 15 race program are a $16,500 Delaware Special, and three $15,000 winners-over events. Post time is 5:30 p.m.
