1, 5-2, CAMELOT HALL, Darren McCall, D Scharf, S Arnold Sampson St., J Silva, After a week off, has Jersey Cup on July 3 at Meadowlands. “No more taking back at the start,” said owner David Scharf. Stays in McCall’s hands in New Jersey.

2, 3-1, METROPOLITAN, Chris Ryder, N&G Smiley, TLP, J Langfelder , Had a week off after 2nd in North America Cup. “He came out of the race very well,” said Ryder. “I’m hoping he can give me my first Meadowlands Pace. He’s a versatile colt and that helps a lot at this level.”

3, 7-2, PANSPACIFICFLIGHT, Brian Magie, Peter Pan Stables, “He’s for real,” said Luc Ouellette. “He was a little bit off in the North America Cup [3rd], but good horses put forth a good effort no matter what.” Looking for a 3yo open or qualifier at Meadowlands after a week off.

4, 5-1, GEORGIA PACIFIC, Randy Bendis, Bendis, Castelli, Campbell, Varney, Won his Am-Nat elim in 1:49.4, his third sub 1:50 mile. Has final on July 3. “He responded well once I asked him in the final eighth,” said Andy Miller. “This is a top colt, for sure.”

8, 6-1, TIMESAREACHANGING, Brett Pelling, Perfect World Ent., 3rd in NJSS, half-length back in 1:49.2 mile. “He is definitely a Meadowlands Pace horse,” said Yannick Gingras. “He just kept on digging in. He was fighting back at the wire.”

5, 8-1, MANTACULAR, Larry Rathbone, M&L Delaware Inc., Week off after victory in NA Cup. “He’s the type of horse we thought after his 2yo season would be a top colt at three,” said Cat Manzi. “He just keeps on steadily improving.”

6, 10-1, THE PREACHER PAN, K McMaster/ Ivan Sugg, Peter Pan Stables, Stays in Canada, looking for a 3yo open or non-winners of four this week before heading to Ivan Sugg, who trained last year’s top 3yo and Horse of the Year No Pan Intended.

9, 12-1, BRANDON’S COWBOY, Mark Ford, Martin Scharf, Off 2 weeks, may Q this week. “He’s doing fine,” said Ford. “He’s up against a tough group and will have to step it up. This is not the same group he beat in the Berry’s Creek.”

7, 15-1, MODERN ART, Joe Holloway, T Gewertz, M&M Frank, Val D’Or, Week off after 4th in NJSS. “That was my fault,” said Holloway. “I shouldn’t have raced him right back after the trip he got and the ship back and forth. The blame for that one lies right with me.” May Q this week or train up to Pace.

NOT RANKED, 20-1, HOLBORN HANOVER, Mark Harder, Canamerica, Fielding, 4th in NJSS Final on June 26. Harder’s hope for the Pace as stablemate Skydancer Hanover, the Hoosier Cup winner, is not eligible and would have to be supplemented.
