Blooded Horse Sale now accepting electronic transfers

by Jessica Schroeder, USTA Outreach & Membership Enrichment Coordinator

Columbus, OH — The Blooded Horse Sale is now accepting electronic “seller signatures” through your USTA MyAccount for horses consigned to the Summer Mixed Sale (Aug. 28-29).

For horses that are consigned to the sale, an owner in current membership with the USTA can now electronically sign off as seller. No need to fax or mail in the Application for Transfer to the sales office; sign off as seller online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Even if the horse has hard copy registration papers, owners can still electronically sign as seller, just remember to send your hard copy papers to the Blooded Horse Sales Company sales office.

If you have a horse in the upcoming sale, log-in to your USTA MyAccount, go to the “Work in Progress at the USTA” box and click “Seller Signatures”. The horses you have consigned will be listed and you can electronically sign off by selecting “Release”. On that same screen, next to the horse’s name, is an indicator as to whether the horse has hard copy registration papers or if the papers are held electronically at the USTA.

For more information about how to set up a USTA MyAccount or what you see on the seller signatures screen, contact Member Services at 877.800.8782. By setting up your account today, you will be ready for the fall sales that will be accepting electronic seller signatures, including the Buckeye, Hoosier and Michiana Classic Yearling Sales, as well as the Midwest Mixed Sale.
