Sacramento, CA — In preparation for the upcoming Cal Expo harness season, which will get underway on Saturday (Nov. 10), the backstretch will open on Saturday (Sept. 15).

The back track will open on Sunday (Sept. 16), while the main track opens Sept. 24. Stall space is available free of charge, click the stall application link here.

This will be the seventh season of harness racing at Cal Expo under the Watch and Wager LLC banner. Purses have been increased eight percent over last season and there will be a minimum $40 starter fee.
