Foster wins four at Rosecroft

Ft. Washington, MD — Russell Foster captured four races on Wednesday night (Oct. 10) at Rosecroft Raceway.

Foster forged to the front past the opening quarter with Nerida Franco N and the heavily favored mare cruised to a 1:51.4 score for David Hamm and trainer Michael Hall.

Yankee Artillery gave driver Russell Foster his fourth win of the night.

Foster won with Courtney Jackson trotter Explosive Yankee for trainer Eric Foster from post eight, and then scored with Lil Miss Gorgeous for William Cantrell and trainer John Cabot from post nine.

Foster finished off the grand slam with Yankee Artillery for new trainer Greg Trotto who co-owns with Fred Sporrer, Jeff Livingston, and the VIP Internet Stable. The son of Somebeachsomewhere won for the seventh time this year.

Jason Thompson had a hat trick, winning back-to-back with B N Hopeful for Carolin Oglesby and trainer Clyde Oglesby Jr., and then UF Lindsay’s Boy for Kasey Bendix and Virginia Marvel. It was the first lifetime win for the I’m Gorgeous gelding in his fourth start for new trainer Jerry Nock. Thompson then guided Brandon Tomlinson’s Annual Reward to a win at 11-1.

Frank Milby took two wins, winning with Candy Milby’s Rock King Deo and the Twin Pond’s Stable’s OK Daisey. John Hollingsworth trains the mare by The Fraternity Pan who won for the third time this year.

Hot Hot Jenna remained red hot for driver Mark Gray, winning for the third time in four starts.
