Harrington, DE — Nanticoke Racing, Ed Maas and Arlene Paisley’s Terror At Night ($5.80, Jim Morand) was a 1:53.2 winner in the $15,000 Mares Open on Tuesday (Oct. 9) at Harrington Raceway.

Terror At Night held off an inside challenger to take Tuesday’s Mares Open at Harrington Raceway.
Terror At Night took the lead at the quarter-mile mark from Artrageous through an opening panel of :27.2. It would stay that way through a half in :56.2 and three-quarters in 1:25. In deep stretch, Terror At Night was full of pace and held off the pocket sitter by half a length. Artrageous was second with Shesarocker third.
Terror At Night, a daughter of Western Terror trained by Les Givens, achieved her eighth win of the year.
In the sub-featured $11,000 Mares Open II, Rushcreek Stables’ Clarebear ($3.00, Tony Morgan) was a 1:53.3 winner for trainer Sheldon Powell over Springforth and Skateboard Chic.
