Impinktoo tops Lexington Selected Mixed Sale

Lexington, KY — Impinktoo, who on Saturday (Oct. 6) equaled the world record of 1:49.4 for a 3-year-old filly trotter, on Sunday (Oct. 7) was the top-selling horse in the inaugural Lexington Selected Mixed Sale at Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion. Herb Liverman purchased Impinktoo, a half-sister to Dan Patch Award winner Pinkman, for $300,000.
A daughter of Manofmanymissions out of Margie Seelster, Impinktoo entered the sale off four consecutive wins, including the Ohio Sires Stakes championship. On Saturday she won a late closer at Red Mile in 1:49.4 to equal Plunge Blue Chip’s world record. She is eligible to several upcoming stakes, including the Breeders Crown.
For her career, Impinktoo has won eight of 25 races, including last year’s Ohio Sires Stakes championship, and earned $412,610. She was bred by Jay Mossbarger and owned previously by William Walters, Joseph McLead and RTK Racing. She was consigned by Preferred Equine.
The sale, which sold a combined total of 105 horses and stallion shares, grossed nearly $4.76 million.
Liverman’s activity was not limited to Impinktoo. His other purchases included 3-year-old filly trotter What A Knockout for $170,000, two stallion shares in Muscle Hill for $150,000 each, a stallion share in Father Patrick for $85,000, 3-year-old filly trotter Byway for $80,000, and 3-year-old filly trotter The Russian Spy for $60,000. All were consigned by Preferred Marketing with the exception of one Muscle Hill share by Diamond Creek Farm and the Father Patrick share by Brittany Farms.
What A Knockout is a daughter of Donato Hanover out of Southwind Sofia. Her family includes Southwind Serena, the dam of two-time Dan Patch Award winner Mission Brief and stakes winner Tactical Landing, as well as The Ice Queen, who is the dam of stakes winners Ice Attraction and The Ice Dutchess.
Byway, by Muscle Mass out of Passageway, is a three-quarter sister to Peter Haugton Memorial winner Don’t Let’em. The Russian Spy, by Credit Winner out of Bramalea Hanover, is from the family of two-time O’Brien Award winner Caprice Hill.
Other top sellers Sunday included 3-year-old filly trotter Megadolce, who sold for $180,000 to Horse Fly International as agent and was consigned by Peninsula Farm, and 3-year-old colt trotter Missle Hill, who sold for $130,000 to Brixton Medical AB and was consigned by Preferred Equine.
Megadolce is a daughter of Cantab Hall out of Bella Dolce. Her family includes Dan Patch Award winner Pizza Dolce, and her half-sister Bellareina Dolce sold for $400,000 on Wednesday during the Lexington Selected yearling sale. Missle Hill is by Muscle Hill out of India Hall. He finished third in this year’s Simcoe Stakes and also got checks in the Canadian Trotting Classic and Goodtimes Stakes. He is a full brother to stakes winner Muscle Network.
