Wishing Stone, who has been at stud at Sugar Valley Farm in Ohio, has also been used overseas and Sunday afternoon (Oct. 7) his offspring dominated the Dansk Trav Kriterium, the biggest race for 3-year-old trotters in that country.

Though he only had 14 foals in his 2015 Danish crop, Wishing Stone had no less than five offspring in the main event. They finished one, two and fifth.

The winner, Diamondwind, who is Swedish owned, was in command the whole trip driven by Peter Untersteiner and won the 1-9/16th mile event followed by Dumbo driven by Jeppe Juel. The latter is owned by Keld Gregersen, The Disney Stud, who made a name for himself buying Coventry Hall for $210,000 at the Lexington Sale Saturday.

The fifth placed Donatello Garbo was parked outside the leader most of the trip.

In the consolation, Wishing Stone also had the winner, Diamant Ostervang, driven by Kenneth Andersen.
