Thursday night action at The Meadowlands

East Rutherford, NJ – The Meadowlands resumes live racing on Thursday (Dec. 26) with a 10-race card that features some real pari-mutuel head scratchers. The racing continues through the weekend with big fields that may well lead to big payoffs for the Meadowlands faithful. Total handle for last Friday (Dec. 21) and Saturday (Dec. 22) was in the $2.5 million range, buoyed by full fields and reduced competition.

Thursday may be your “Lucky Day” if you belong to The Meadowlands Players Club as one lucky Players Rewards member will be selected to win back all Meadowlands live racing wagering losses (up to $1,000) from that card as a cash voucher.

In the fourth and final week of musical announcers, Harness Racing Communicator’s Corner Hall of Fame inductee and Meadowlands TV personality Dave Little will “Borrow Ken’s Binoculars” and call the Thursday card. Dave is the Grand Circuit Week announcer at Goshen Historic Track and calls the action at the Orleans County Fair (Barton, VT) along with his multiple media assignments at The Meadowlands.

Free program pages for the Pick-4 and 10th race Jackpot Super Hi-5 as well as handicapping help are made available on the web.

Post time is 7:15 p.m.
