Fort Washington, MD — Rosecroft Raceway the “Raceway By The Beltway” has joined the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program offering a $2,500 guaranteed pool on the Pick-5 wager throughout the month of March. 

Lisa Watts, Director of Operations at the Fort Washington oval stated, “as we strive to attract more patrons to our racing product here at Rosecroft, it made perfect sense to join the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program.  Our Pick-5 wager has an industry low 12% takeout, which offers great value to those customers looking to get “more bang for their buck.” 

We are confident the horseplayers will embrace the competitive racing, full fields, and better than average mutual returns once they become familiar with what we have to offer here at Rosecroft”.  The Pick-5 wager goes from races seven to eleven, and the program pages can be downloaded from the USTA ’s strategic wagering menu.  

Purchased in July of 2016 by the Maryland Jockey Club, whose parent company The Stronach Group own several of the top thoroughbred tracks in the country including Gulfstream, Santa Anita, and Laurel Park, Rosecroft is celebrating its 70^th year of offering live harness racing action to the Mid-Atlantic region. 

Sunday’s (March 3) post time is at 4:40 p.m. with an exciting thirteen race program.  Rosecroft also races every Wednesday with a 6:40 p.m. post, and is open 364 days each year for your simulcasting pleasure.
