Propulsion leaves from post seven in Saturday’s Olympic Trot

Propulsion, who will be driven by Ôrjan Kihlström, received post position seven in the Olympic Trot at Aby, Sweden, on Saturday (April 27).

The purse for the winner in this 1/5-16 mile event is $160,000.

Ringostarr Treb, who won the Elitlopp last year, is back and won his first race in 2019 in very convincing style.

Ringostarr Treb, trained by Jerry Riordan, won a mile race at Halmstad in 1.51.3 with Wim Paal in the bike.

The French top trotter, Aubrion du Gers, who is invited to race in the Elitlopp next month at Solvalla, will race for the first time at the mile distance on Saturday afternoon.

Aubrion du Gers with owner/trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire is entered in the Criterium de Vitesse at the track in Argentan in Normandy, France.

Aubrion du Gers received post position seven in the field of 12 trotters. The purse for the winner is $45,000.

After the burning of the world famous church, Notre Dame in Paris, the French trotting and Thoroughbred associations with the betting company, PMU has donated 1.1 million Euro to the restoration of the church.
