A Ps Money Maker banked $571,716 in five seasons on the racetrack.

The 6-year-old daughter of Cardmaster Hanover-Mint Kondition has had five atrial fibrillations (abnormal heart rhythm) over her career, which caused the connections to retire the 19-time winner.

“That was her fifth time (in her stall at First Line Training Centre) about two months ago and enough was enough,” Umphrey stated.

Last season, the pacing mare celebrated the biggest year of her career with $269,732 in earnings while setting the Mohawk track record of 1:49.1.

“If you told me that she would set the track record when I moved here (from Alberta), I would have laughed,” Umphrey commented. “That was a pretty nice accomplishment on her part. We had a lot of fun with her and it was a sad way to end her career.”

A Ps Money Maker was primarily driven by Rick Zeron while in Ontario and is owned by Terry Hamilton, Joe Tinelli and Shir Win Racing Stable.

Umphrey has confirmed A Ps Money Maker is in foal to Mach Three.
