A special note to all “A” licensed drivers

by Mickie Stiers, USTA customer service manager

Columbus, OH — All “A” licensed drivers are required to register their driver-color designs with the USTA, as per Rule 17, Section 12, of the USTA rule book.

The registration of a driver’s color design with the USTA ensures that no other person can register or use a driver’s distinct design and driving color pattern. This also means that a driver’s colors are recognized as belonging to that driver alone. When fans or colleagues see a driver on the race track they associate those colors with that specific driver.

The goal of such registration is also to guarantee that your colors appear properly in the race program.

Any “A” driver who has not yet registered his or her colors must comply with this rule by June 1 or the colors will not display in program pages.
