Chester, PA — Wood, Dittmar, and Iaquinta’s Adventure Bound (Corey Callahan) took the first of two events for upper-conditioned level pacers at Harrah’s Philadelphia on Sunday (April 19) afternoon. The 7-year-old son of Camluck was sent off the race favorite and did not disappoint, making every call a winning one, stopping the clock in a meet’s fastest 1:49.4. It was the 27th victory for the Eric Ell trainee, who has now earned just under $500,000 in his career. New Kind (Andy Miller) finished second, while Perrito Caliente (Dave Miller) was third. The winner paid $4.80.

In the second division, it was Bendis and Pollack’s K-Lees Shakenbake (Scott Zeron) using a :27 final quarter to get the job done. The 5-year-old son of Raycer Thad patiently pursued cover until the top of the stretch, before pouncing on the leaders, winning by an in-hand two lengths in 1:52.1. It was the Michael Capron Trainee’s 17th career win, and his 3rd of 2015. Scalped (Montrell Teague) was second, while Verdad (Yannick Gingras) finished third. The winner returned $3.60.
