AHC office to relocate Jan. 1, 2023

Washington, DC — The American Horse Council was recently notified by our landlord at 1616 H St NW in Washington, D.C. of the pending sale of the property with intentions to repurpose the building.

Thus, after many years in this wonderful old location near the White House, AHC will be downsizing and relocating within the greater DC-VA-MD (DVM) area in the coming weeks. A search for a possible new office location has been underway for the last few weeks, and we plan to finalize by Dec. 1. We will keep you apprised of our new address and any other logistic changes as things solidify.

As part of the move, we will be dispersing some of the contents we have collected over the years including books, artwork and furnishings.

If you are located in the DVM area and would like to learn more about contents we are offering for free, please contact Julie Broadway at jbroadway@horsecouncil.org for a list of items. Some of the items might be good for silent auctions or other fundraisers. You must be able to pick these items up no later than Dec. 31, 2022. We are unable to ship.

Also, the USPS has informed us that periodical mail including magazines, newsletters, and other periodicals cannot be forwarded so please remove us from your mailing list until we have a new address.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we relocate!
