Tenafly, NJ — The first leg of the summer GSY series was held Sunday (June 30) at Tioga Downs and after a disqualification Alan Charles aboard Prince Pendant was declared the winner.

Scott Woogen, after a nice second place finish in the Billings, was unfortunately disqualified for interference.

Newcomers to the series Kyle Spagnola finished second with JJ’s Jet and Monica Banca guided Distinct Color to a third place finish.

After the race Charles commented that he loves Tioga after his second win there in his only two starts.

The series will now move to Meadowlands Racetrack for a July 19 contest there.
