Bruce Aldrich, Jr. had six wins on Tuesday at Monticello.

Earlier this month — on Nov. 10 — Aldrich said he had a personal goal in which he hoped to compile the second best seasonal win total ever at Monticello Raceway and he surely is en route to do so. At that time he had 373 winners.

Though he won’t be able to supplant the track record of 526 set by Zeke Parker in 1995, he will, however, move into second place in seasonal driving victories when he passes Stephane Bouchard’s 410 winners which he had during the 2005 season.

Of Aldrich’s six winners, four came from his barn where his wife April is the head trainer. With those four victories April now has 160 and she is en route to break her own track record of 171 which she set during the 2007 campaign.
