Columbus, OH — Alexander R. “Bob” Rice Sr. died Monday (Dec. 5). He was 79.

Services will be Tuesday (Dec. 13) at 12 p.m. noon at Daniels and Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, Del., 19709.

Viewing will be from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. noon.

Rice, who purchased Pine Tree Farm, will be interred with military honors at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

He owned such horses as Gottaseeaboutagirl (Western Terror, $154,075), Dirty Devil (Real Artist, $476,261) and Cinamony (Art Official, $520,304).
