Manalapan, NJ — All Speed Hanover, winner of the 2009 Breeders Crown for 2-year-old colt pacers, tops the list of 94 colts and fillies made eligible to the Anthony Abbatiello New Jersey Classic and the Thomas D’Altrui Miss New Jersey which will be contested on June 12 at Meadowlands Racetrack.

Both the $500,000 (est.) New Jersey Classic for 3-year-old pacing colts and the $175,000 (est.) Miss New Jersey for 3-year-old pacing fillies are restricted to sons and daughters of New Jersey-based stallions and are sponsored by the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey.

All Speed Hanover, trained by Noel Daley, is a son of Cam’s Card Shark — both a New Jersey Classic winner and the sire of four previous winners. All Speed Hanover is among the 57 colts and geldings nominated to the richest event for New Jersey-sired pacers.

The colt wrapped up his 2-year-old season with a head victory over eventual divisional champion Sportswriter in the $700,000 Breeders Crown at Woodbine and carries a three-race winning streak into his sophomore campaign. His back-to-back 1:50.3 clockings at Lexington’s Red Mile came in divisions of the Bluegrass and International Stallion Stakes.

At two, All Speed Hanover recorded five wins and one third in seven starts, banking $486,950 for the partnership of Adam Victor & Son Stable LLC and John D. Fielding, who purchased him for $60,000 at the Harrisburg Sale.

New Jersey Sire Stakes 2-year-old Pacing Colt of the Year Gota Go Bullville, by Matt’s Scooter, who captured both the $100,000 NJSS Final and the $125,700 Babic Final at Freehold, is also eligible for the New Jersey Classic.

Owned and bred by Carole and Stephen Crevani, Gota Go Bullville recorded six wins and five seconds from 14 starts and earned $198,057. He is trained by Stephen Crevani.

Among the 37 fillies eligible to the Miss New Jersey are Put On A Show, who collected seven wins and two seconds from nine starts at two. The daughter of Rocknroll Hanover-Steinam’s Place finished second to Fancy Filly in both the Breeders Crown and the Dan Patch divisional voting.

Put On A Show, trained by Chris Ryder, strung together a seven-race winning streak that began on July 29 at the Meadowlands and included victories in the $110,802 Eternal Camnation and $745,476 She’s A Great Lady, both at Mohawk, and divisions of the Bluegrass and International Stallion Stakes at the Red Mile. She took a mark of 1:51.4.

The $75,000 Lexington Selected Sale purchase races in the names of Craig Henderson and Richard P. and Joanne Young. The filly banked $732,308 last year, just shy of the $762,881 career earnings for her older half-sister, Showherthemoney by Cam’s Card Shark, who won the 2009 Miss New Jersey.

The Miss New Jersey eligibles also include Dancin Barefoot by Rocknroll Hanover who won the $100,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final at Freehold and One Last Kiss by Artsplace who captured the $200,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final at the Meadowlands.
