Allbeastnobeauty sets new track record at Dayton

Dayton, OH — Allbeastnobeauty set a track record for 4-year-old pacing mares on Friday night (Sept. 13) at Hollywood Dayton Raceway. The daughter of Sportsmaster scorched the newly reconditioned five-eighths mile oval in 1:50.4 for trainer-driver Dan Noble, clipping a tick off the old standard of 1:51 set by Carol’s Z Tam in 2018.

Western’s Last Gun continued his impressive freshman season with his 11th win in 12 starts this year. Conrad photo.

It was the 20th career triumph for Allbeastnobeauty, who benefitted from quick early fractions set by runner up Suddenly Royal (Jim Pantaleano). Destiny Hanover (Brett Miller) finished third.

The winner, owned by Elm Racing and Tessa Roland, paid $12.20.

Earlier on the card, Western’s Last Gun, a 2-year-old son of Gunthatwonthewest, made his pari-mutuel debut a successful one. After 10 wins in 11 Ohio county fair trials, the gray colt lowered his record to 1:55.3 for owner-trainer Kent Wilcox and driver Scott Cisco.
