When Amelias Courage clicked off the back half in :56 over a “good” surface for Chris Shaw, Just Zip It could not cut into the lead and fell 1-1/2 lengths short in the 1:52.4 mile. The first-over Ellasen raced well for show.

Richard Perfido trains the winner, a 7-year-old daughter of Courage Under Fire-American Dreamer who triumphed for the 22nd time in her career and lifted her lifetime bankroll to $222,415, for Win Rhythm Stables.

In Wednesday’s co-feature, a $10,300 Filly & Mare Conditioned Trot, Luvcrunchess moved powerfully first over and romped home in 1:55.4 for Aaron Merriman, trainer Steven Walters and owner PT Stable.

Mike Wilder and Merriman each piloted three winners on the 13-race card.
