American Native to stand in Indiana in 2011

Crete, IL — American Native, a son of 1993 Hambletonian winner American Winner who has been standing stallion duty in Illinois the past eight years, will stand stud in 2011 at the Gary Wilcox Farm in Urbana, Ind.

American Native, a winner on the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes as well as the 2000 William Connors Memorial Trot for Hall of Fame trainer Doug Ackerman, took a mark of 1:54.2 as a 3-year-old and had career earnings of $204,773. His fastest and richest foal is Dr McDreamy, who has a mark of 1:53.3 and earnings of $223,981.
