Angeline Carlone, 98, dies

Columbus, OH — Angeline L. Carlone, 98, of Manchester, N.J, died Aug. 17, 2013.

She owned and operated Angie’s Hot Dogs on Route 9, Toms River Township, for more than 20 years before retiring 10 years ago.

She was a member of the Abundant Grace Church, Toms River.

Born in New Providence, she lived in Summit and Lakewood before moving to Manchester 12 years ago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Carlone, Jr., who was a driver-trainer at tracks in Freehold and Atlantic City, racing horses like Theodore Diamond and Joel’s Creed.

Mrs. Carlone is survived by her daughters, Marie A. Foti and Ann Parisi; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday (Aug. 20) from 4-8 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. funeral service at the Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. There will be a private interment Wednesday.
