Ariana G remains in top spot in Poll

Freehold, NJ — There was little movement in this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, with the top five horses remaining unchanged. Ariana G continues to lead the poll with 326 points, with Hannelore Hanover second, followed by Manchego, Fear The Dragon and Downbytheseaside.
Matron Stakes winner Youaremycandygirl made the only move in this week’s poll, improving from No. 9 to No. 8 in the rankings.
The remainder of the horses in the Top 10 were idle.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll does not determine Horse of the Year. The U.S. Harness Writers Association votes in December on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
