Arrangements announced for Dave Rankin

Columbus, OH — Arrangements have been announced for Dave Rankin, 65, who died March 16, 2012, after a long battle with cancer.
There will be a small memorial service at the Mount Sterling Methodist Church, 8185 Hopewell National Rd., Hopewell, Ohio, on Saturday (March 24) at 1 p.m.
Mr. Rankin was born August 3, 1946, near Bremen, Hocking County, Ohio, the son of the late W. Scott Rankin and Grace L. (Thompson) Rankin.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Kay (Miller); son, D. Scott (Tammy); grandchildren, Cassady Rae and David Connor; brother, John S. (Joyce); sisters, Ruth Ann (Daniel) Altmeyer and Grace Kay; nieces and nephews, L. Casey (David) Greer, Jr., Leslie (Dimitri Buys), Heather (Michael) Wilder and Julie (Aaron) Orlosky; and his best friend, George (Susan) Harvey.
