Columbus, OH — Arthur Jason “Art” Jones, 69, of North Fort Myers, Fla., died March 31, 2010, while golfing.

Mr. Jones was born April 14, 1940, in Nuttalburg, W.Va., a son of the late Glen and Lillian Evans Jones. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a graduate of Huntington East High School and Marshall University.

He was a retired high school educator, football coach and trainer/driver in Ohio.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Barbara; sister, Patsy (Charlie) Johnson; and numerous loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 5, at Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, by Dr. David B. Lemming and Father Jim Sobus. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park.
