Harrington, DE — Lacey Lafferty, author of a soon to be released book titled Delaware Horse Racing, will be in the Harrington Raceway grandstand lobby on the book’s release date, Monday, Oct. 29, for autographs.

Lafferty will be available from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., barring any weather-related cancellations to the races that night due to the impending path of Hurricane Sandy.

Lafferty, a retired Delaware State Trooper, is a lifelong horse enthusiast and her book chronicles the rich history of horse racing at Delaware’s three racetracks.

The book can be purchased in the Harrington Raceway and Casino gift shop, but is also available at multiple online retailers such as amazon.com.
