Toronto, ON — Fresh from their successes in the Lifetime Dream series, trainer Ben Baillargeon’s two Quebecois lasses, Afternoon Dreams and Ocean Mist Dynasty, are set to take on the boys in the opening round of the Don Mills Trotting Series for 4-year-olds on Monday night (Jan. 26) at Woodbine.

Afternoon Dreams, who captured the Lifetime Dream final last week with her stablemate close behind, has been installed as the 2-1 morning line favorite in the second of three C$25,000 flights of this series. She’ll be aiming for a fifth consecutive victory.

Ocean Mist Dynasty, meanwhile, has been listed as the 5-1 second choice, in the first of the three Don Mills divisions. The daughter of Angus Hall will be going up against Pegasus Spur son Sand Wyndham, a recent addition to Ben Wallace’s barn making only his second start on Canadian soil. A veteran of the Ohio fair circuit, this 4-year-old showed he can play on the big track last week, when he was a game second in a C$25,000 conditioned event at Woodbine; as a result, he’s rated at 2-1.

The Don Mills opening rounds are races one, two, and four on Monday night’s card. Post time is 7:20 p.m.
