Barbara Betts, 74, dies

Columbus, OH — Barbara A. Betts, 74, a former member of the USTA, died Jan. 4, 2012, after a battle with cancer.

She was born April 2, 1937, in Circleville Ohio. A lifelong resident of Pickaway County, she retired from RCA in Circleville. She was an avid Ohio State and Cincinnati Reds fan.

She is survived by her children, Carole (William) Provost, John (Sandra), Bobbi (Chris) Weaver, Mary (Gary) Kimball, and Leigh Hurley; grandchildren, Bradley Provost, Natalie (Charlie) Blair, Jason Betts, Ryan (Cathy) List, Jaime List, Tyler Kimball, Kyle Kimball, and Mellissa Hurley; step-grandchildren, Derek and Jenna Weaver; and great-grandchildren, Addison Blair, Emma Blair and Madyson List.

Arrangements are being handled by Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville. Visitation will be Friday (Jan. 6) from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be private on Saturday (Jan. 7).
